South Korea – the global cultural and economic powerhouse – was sent into political crisis when President Yoon Suk-Yeol declared martial law in the middle of the night in December 2024.

Since then, the nation has grappled with insurrection, impeachment, and political upheaval.

Join us February 26th for a conversation with Ambassador Euy Whan Kim, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in New York, to discuss how the nation is facing this presidential crisis.
